ICS has been electropolishing firefighting equipment components for Frontline Fire and Rescue. Frontline Fire and Rescue are designers and manufacturers of fire appliances, rescue vehicles, specialised vehicles and purpose-built trailers and equipment. The scope is to pickle and passivate stainless steel as per ASTM A380 and ASTM A967. Then once complete, to electropolish the stainless steel to ASTM B912.Most of our clients only pickle and passivate their pipe spools but Frontline Fire and Rescues look great polished, completing their equipment and providing an increased level of corrosion resistance.
