Tank Cleaning Robot (TCR) Wins Two Tank Storage Awards

The Tank Cleaning Robot was exhibited at the annual StocExpo in Rotterdam 14-16 March and presented to the wider tank storage industry.
This was the first exhibition of the product in the European market, and what a blast.
Commercial Manager, Andrea Kuckulich-Flynn and Business Development Manager, Daniel Rune Jensen represented CLIIN Robotics and the tank cleaning solution at the show where an impressive show-up of industry professionals got a chance to lay eyes and fingers on the robot.

Along with great interest from visitors and co-exhibitors, our TCR was also officially recognized at the Global Tank Storage Awards on 15 March, receiving two bronze awards – one in the category Safety Technology and one for Emerging Technology.
We are absolutely thrilled to receive recognition from the industry for our venture into tank cleaning and we will continue improving safety and ease of work with our simple magnetic crawler.

We would like to thank all the visitors for their interest and inspiring conversations and our co-exhibitors at StocExpo for sharing knowledge and ideas.

See you next year at StocExpo in Rotterdam!

Fortuna International crew trained as Cargo Hold Robot operators

This week CEO of Fortuna International, Yurii Bohatyrov, and six of Fortuna’s cleaning team foremen visited the CLIIN Robotics headquarter in Søborg for two days of introduction and training with our robots.

Combining the experience and skills of Fortuna with the power of the Cargo Hold Robot ensures a cargo hold cleaning operation with improved efficiency, and reduced risk of delays and hold rejections. The majority of the cleaning can be performed during discharge and implies no use of chemicals. Any remaining cleaning can be done during voyage to ensure a timely and satisfying result.

The six new robot operators from Fortuna took part in classroom sessions with instructions on the safety, use, and maintenance of the equipment and in live trials where they all got hands-on experience with the robots and high-pressure equipment.
