40 m Oil Tank Prepared for Steel Inspection with Tank Cleaning Robot

Another successful cleaning with the Tank Cleaning Robot was performed by Inter Terminals at Stigsnæs. Inter Terminals’ crew was able to clean the required area of the inner shell of a 40 m (diameter) tank within half a day. The cleaning was necessary as a preparation for a steel inspection.

This was a job that would normally require scaffolding or extensive and inventive use of lances and ropes.
The Tank Cleaning Robot can be applied to a variety of tank cleaning jobs and eliminates the need for scaffolding and reduces manpower to a two-person team.
